Vittoria Arimani

The meaning behind a name, the power of a dream.

Every name tells a story. Ours embodies a philosophy, an identity, and a vision for the future.

ARIMANI “yesterday”

In the Gallurese dialect of Sardinia. I chose this word to honour the past, my roots, and all those traditions that have survived through the centuries but are now at risk of being forgotten.

VITTORIA “victory”

A word that looks towards the future. In Italian, it means victory.

I chose to bring these two names together because, when spoken as one, they sound like the name of a woman: Vittoria Arimani.

And, in a way, that is exactly what they represent.

For every woman

The courage to believe in herself.

Vittoria Arimani symbolically represents every woman who has the courage to believe in herself, pursue her dreams, and build her own independence.

I deeply believe in the strength of women, in their determination, and in their freedom. I believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to choose her own future, find fulfilment through her work, and transform her abilities into opportunities.

My own story is an example of this belief. I chose to transform a simple, everyday activity, traditionally considered women's domestic work, such as making pasta by hand, into a successful business. An ancient skill, often taken for granted, became the heart of a project that introduces Sardinian traditions to people from all over the world.

Because no talent is too ordinary to become something extraordinary. And no dream is too ambitious for a woman who has the courage to pursue it.

For those who come back

Returning home does not mean turning away from the world.

But Vittoria carries another meaning, one that is equally close to my heart. It is a name I wish to dedicate to the young people of Sardinia who, like me, after studying, working, or living away from their homeland, have chosen to return.

To those who have decided to build their future, raise their families, and pursue their dreams here, despite the challenges and the opportunities that often seem easier to find elsewhere.

Returning home means bringing home everything the world has taught us and transforming it into something valuable for our own land.

I believe in a Sardinia that is not simply a place to visit, but also a place where people can choose to live, create, innovate, and fulfil their ambitions.

Vittoria Arimani is therefore a tribute to the past, but above all, a declaration of faith in the future. It is dedicated to women who choose freedom, to young people who find the courage to return home, and to everyone who believes in the possibility of turning a dream into reality.

ARIMANI represents where we come from. VITTORIA represents what we can become.
